Product Description

MJC2.0 is a uniquely engineered MPO optical fiber connector that incorporates our proprietary Soft Mating Technology to significantly improve connector durability and reliability.

Unlike conventional MPO connectors, where the MT ferrules are continuously pressed together by full spring force and experience hard mating during every connection cycle, MJC2.0 features a differential spring design. During the initial stage of mating, the springs apply a reduced force, allowing the MT ferrules to engage gently. This controlled movement provides a cushioning effect, enabling the ferrules to absorb mating impact and reduce mechanical stress on the fiber end faces and alignment components.

Once the connection is fully engaged, the spring force automatically increases to meet the standard MPO mating force requirements, ensuring stable optical and mechanical performance. This innovative transition from low-force engagement to standard-force retention creates the Soft Mating effect that distinguishes MJC2.0 from conventional MPO connectors.

By minimizing mating impact and reducing wear on critical connector components, MJC2.0 can extend connector service life by up to ten times compared with standard MPO connectors.
